Location is great because it's near a train station and different bus stops. Since we took a late evening flight, the bus stopped right in front of the hotel because there is a bus stop there. There are also nearby food places that opens as early as 7AM. There's a 7-Eleven just outside, or vending machines inside the property. Good and clean surroundings outside, very quiet area. The airport is 30-40mins away via A32 bus. Central and Causeway Bay areas are 45-60mins away via Tsuen Wan Line then Island Line. Then Jordan, TST, Nathan Road areas are 30mins away via Tsuen Wan Line.

We did an on-the-spot booking at Dorsett Tsuen Wan Hong Kong during the typhoon on September 23, 2025, for our 7-day stay. Honestly, it was one of the best decisions we made. Our stay was very comfortable—even during the typhoon. We had dinner at the Dorsett Café, and the food was delicious. The staff were extremely accommodating, not at all what we expected (we thought they might be strict with tourists, but they were warm and welcoming). We were celebrating a special occasion—our wedding anniversary and my birthday on the 25th—so this trip meant a lot to us. On our first night, we stayed on the 7th floor in a twin bed room, but the next day, we were moved to Room 1612, which was so much better. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The daily housekeeping was good—every time we came back from a long day, the bed was neatly fixed. But we did notice one thing: hopefully the cleaning staff can also check the corners more thoroughly, because we found a used cigarette butt tucked away. Just because it’s hidden doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be cleaned. Also, on the last two days, I felt some itching—maybe bed bugs, maybe not—I’m not sure. I always shower right after returning, so I hope this is something the hotel can look into to maintain cleanliness. One of the highlights for us was definitely the free shuttle bus. Even though the hotel is a bit far from the city center, the shuttle made it easy to reach Metroplaza and the MTR. (Way better than commuting back home in the Philippines! 🤣) Food prices at the café are a little high, but still worth it for the quality. We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet—we’re already missing it! ❤️ Overall, we’re in love with Dorsett and we will definitely come back. Thank you for making our trip special. Room is large and clean enough. Quiet. Water station at every level. 10 minutes walk to metro station and a community centre. A bargain compared to how expensive downtown hotels are, and it actually doesn't take that long to get around by metro.

Having 3 single beds was crucial. We rarely find rooms with three beds and our 8 year old was extremely comfortable, especially since he usually gets cramped with one of us or ends up on the sofa :) Terrific shower and water pressure. Very friendly housekeeping staff; they cleaned the room promptly every morning as soon as we left. Great towel service as we always had several extra clean bath towels for use at any point. Comfy bed and nice, plush pillows. Big windows with lots of sunlight in the morning. The room was very quiet at night. My family and I are early sleepers, and I myself am a light sleeper. I did not hear any noise from the street or other guests after 9/930PM. We woke up very well rested every morning.

The hotel and the room looked dated because i have been to this hotel before years ago but I like this hotel it so this is my go- to hotel in Hongkong. the staff specially the front desk are always helpful and polite.

Marco and Jack are nice to us and they intoduced bus route and time table for me and my mom so that we known the time more precisely, room are comfortable and relax for me and my mom, and the housekeeping are very friendly and nice to us too.The view are nice too, we stay at the 20 floor and face to the mountain and school side. I assume if I can stay at the club floor will be good for me next time I come. Overall Professional hardworking and made us wanted to come and stay for long. Good job!!

My stay was a little unique as I was working at a school nearby for a month, so location and price was perfect for me. Everyone I encountered aside from one receptionist who looked like he hadn’t slept in a week was courteous and professional. The room wasn’t massive but it had a good shower and cleaning staff were very good about cleaning room soon after I clicked make-up room button. The bed was a bit hard and the room a little dark so not sure I would stay again for a long period for that reason, but for short term stay I think it’s fine. The main reason you shouldn’t stay here is that if you are planning on using Mtr to get around it’s an 8-minute walk along a freeway and they’re doing construction along the footpath circa early April 2025 so now it’s narrow and noisy. Saying that, the shuttle bus to kwuntong is an alternative but the one time I took it, it felt like forever getting to the mall as there are so many stoplights along the way. You can get a taxi easily enough too. Finally, room service was okay, a bit overpriced but delivered to your door. Not a lot of options super close but if you don’t mind walking ten minutes there are places you can go. There is a 7-11 downstairs too thankfully.

Location is very near many family friendly malls with free playgrounds and is walking distance to MTR station. Family friendly hotel with a Kids Zone. Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is clean and well kept.

Hotel room size is good. I can open two 24” luggage’s on the floor at the same time. Bed is comfortable. Although the hotel is located in the light industrial district but it’s quiet. We also found there is a local community centre across the street which is about 5 minutes walk. We can play table tennis and exercise every morning. Location is not far from Local mall and have shuttle buses service to MTR and Metroplaza Mall. Taxi fare from airport to hotel is around HKD $230 and the MTR to hotel is less than HKD$40. The shuttle bus staff are very nice in organizing their schedule and always greet us with smiles. Good value for short stay in HK. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. We have no problem to extend our stay in the same room when the super strong typhoon hitting HK.

We stayed at Dorsett Tsuen Wan for 4 nights and had a great experience overall! Check-in was smooth, and the bed was super comfortable, a huge plus after full days of walking. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job making up the room daily and fresh towels were provided and changed every day upon request, which we really appreciated. Plus, having vending machines in the lobby was a nice touch for late-night cravings! The location is a little far from the city center, but it’s still very manageable especially with their shuttle service that leaves every 30 minutes going to the drop-off at main entrance of Metro Plaza. That definitely made getting around easier. Special thanks to Peter at the front desk. He was warm, helpful and very professional. He assisted us well during check-in and answered all my questions with a smile. Such great hospitality! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-run place to stay in Hong Kong.
